Held on Saturday, October 20th at Campbell Park, this family-friendly event offers a 10K, a 5K, and 250-yard Kid's Dash.
A Bavarian feat of strength, the stein-holding contest is a longstanding tradition to see who can hold a full stein of beer at arm's length for as long as possible.
Judged by Dan Gordon of Gordon Biersch Brewing Company, the annual contest will be held in the Biersch Garden at 3pm on both days of the festival.
New to Oktoberfest is our costume contest! With so many festival-goers getting into the spirit by wearing their lederhosen and dirndls, we thought, why not have an official contest!
So don your best Bavarian garb and join the fun in the Biersch Garden on both Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.
This large tent with tables, live music, beer, and Bavarian pretzels will make you feel like you're in Munich! A great way to relax and enjoy authentic German food while you watch or participate in the chicken dance, stein holding and costume contests!
Located on Central Avenue just outside of the Biersch Garden you will find Wine Central - new to Oktoberfest this year! Local wineries will be pouring tastings of premium wines both days for your enjoyment.
With four stages placed throughout the festival, there will be live music, street performances, and community entertainment including the popular Dunk-A-Cop and Dunk-A-Firefighter attraction during both days of the event.
