National Anthem-Angela Boricua Tirado

Angela Boricua Tirado is a local Puerto Rican acapella vocalist who was named in 2015 by Assemblymember Ash kalra and San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo as "The Voice of San Jose."  She first began singing when she was 8 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Jose, joining the choir at a young age. Angela has sung for many special events especially for the Veterans, law enforcement, new citizens and her community.

Lady Fingers Guitar Duo-Melody Shepard

  

The Lady Fingers guitar duo are Melody Sheppard and Eugenia Teytelman, two classical guitarists from San Jose, CA. They play delightful and upbeat music from Brazil, Greece, Russia and other countries. Melody Sheppard is a native Californian who played guitar since she was 8. Eugenia Teytelman was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, where she first started to play piano, and discovered guitar when she was 14. Melody and Eugenia met in 2014 and have been playing together since then. They have performed for Downtown San Jose's Noon Arts and Lectures series, South Bay Guitar Society fundraising events and festivals, SJG School of Music guitar nights, private parties, and public libraries in the San Jose area.

Grace, The Friendly Fairy performs her original songs and invites the children to sing -long. She provides opportunities for children to share their voices with the audience. Join Grace in a mini songwriting session and color dance. Sing-along circle games are also played.
